Being Persecuted

2 Corinth 4:6-10 (Contemporary English Version)

6The Scriptures say, "God commanded light to shine in the dark." Now God is shining in our hearts to let you know that his glory is seen in Jesus Christ.

7We are like clay jars in which this treasure is stored. The real power comes from God and not from us.

8We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don't know what to do, we never give up.

9In times of trouble, God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again.

10We face death every day because of Jesus.

All who are true worshipers in Christ Jesus must remember that all those who follow Christ will be persecuted for Gods’ sake. If you remember in the word of God that Jesus carried His own cross. When will we carry our own cross, follow Christ and not look to man, not look to fame to validate us or look to the world for recognition. Our lives are in Christ Jesus! Jesus death in God for the world, resurrection and His living were to claim us to be freed from sin, bondage. How did Jesus do this by dying? By dying for the world, and rose again with all power. Our first step is by accepting we are sinners and must repent of our sins and live for Christ by following His commandments and teachings written in the word of God. 

Yet those-who-are-called-out-of-bondage are still tied, hooked on the high of sin that it is apparent (readily seen; expose to sight) and became married to false teachings and drunkenness with demonic angels. For if you don’t follow Christ you are following the devil. We must examine the word of God and ask Him what these passages meant as to get God intent with full understanding.

In fact we forget that there are only two ways to live. We either serve Jesus or Satan. There are no in-betweens just these two options.

We are being led astray in some cases by doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1) which has adversely (acting or serving to oppose; being or acting in) opposition to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our ears have itched and our hearts fain (happily, glad and willingly) in disbelief that Gods’ word is true. Instead of using our faith we use tangible objects of desire and see no proof in our present life that God exists or can help. This is why we give up and become meat for the slaughter to die a death of uncertainty for our beliefs that went awry (askew, amiss, with a turn or twist to one side). All because we couldn’t make a sound decision as to what we believe in. 

Our eyes will not be open to the word of God unless you believe in Jesus. Then I ask are you following the teachings of Christ and have given up the worldly lifestyle? If not then we need to evaluate our living. Are we living according to the scriptures in Christ or are we just living life anyhow?

Before I go any further if you have not given your life in exchange to have life in Christ by repenting and doing the will of Christ you then will not see many results. Quickly you will try God and quickly you will turn to other false gods who are deaf, dumb, mute, and those who physically can’t move or those who move and have no understanding.

We are like Thomas who believed not Jesus (one of the apostles who followed Christ) until he inspected Jesus wounds that He resurrected from the grave. We call Thomas doubting Thomas and we doubt as well (John 20:27-28) frequently to ask God if He hears us.

We are supposed to be the light of the world and not become like the world. Once we are saved and repented for our sins we are supposed to change. Come on Christians who follow Christ let us be examples to the world live right to help others gain victory in their lives from sin.

2 Timothy 3:12-13 12 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (English Standard Version).

If you are not persecuted for Christ and the Glory of God as a Christian then I would ask are you living a Godly life.

Be not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus who is a witness to all who loves Him by keeping Gods’ commandments like Jesus did. There is only one God and His name is Jehovah and One son Jesus and One Holy Spirit. 

One more thing if we don’t examine every aspect of our lives in Christ we can easily allow the devil to become part of our lives without even knowing it. From tradition, music, our up-bringing, our learnt philosophies and so on… we can let those evil things in our lives and without our permission could be fighting a battle we know not where it came from. 

Everything is not good and all things bad are not bad. When you search the scriptures and ask for understanding from the Most High God He will in-turn answer give interpretation and clarity that you seek?

Pray and seek the Lord and remember Christ was persecuted and so shall we be who desire Him.

Prayer: Lord I desire to live for you today and repent for my sins. I ask that you come into my life today and make me brand new. The old life is passed away and behold all things are new. I want to live for you for the rest of my days in Christ Jesus Amen!

Christ the answer

Do not be derailed or listen to a voice you have not known. Let not your assignment be delayed or canceled. For the enemy Satan is coming against God's Chosen People and he desires to sift those in Christ like wheat. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord! Look not to your left or right keep your eyes upon Christ who is the answer!

Choose Life

Romans 3:23

23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23

23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.


Yes we are all sinners and without Jesus we would have died without any redemption from God. Yet God showed compassion upon us by sending His Son Christ to give us a way out. As I travel I hear we have all sinned yes we do and then the next thing I hear is no one will get to heaven and that is a lie.

Enoch walked with God and went to heaven. Elijah the Prophet went to heaven. David the warrior, musician and King went also. Even the man who had little possessions died named Lazarus as the rich man also died and went to hell. There are many who went to heaven throughout the entire bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Yes and they did sin but the key is they didn't stay in this state.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Our good is like filthy rags unto God. Our good, good deeds don’t help us get into heaven. Heaven is not a points system where we earn and accumulate enough in our lifetime to achieve the goal of living in Heaven with God. No, no the way is through Christ and obey the teachings within the bible of living Christ-like and denying ourselves the pleasures of this world. We cannot be on a path to ruins and expect the luxury of life.

For then we become like the pigs who are unknowingly are given the better things in life and have trampled them under-foot.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Those who practice sin and know it is a sinful act will die and go to hell. Why for they chose not to change their behavior or habit.

The bible is our instruction manual for daily living and successful living in Christ. In the bible there are many, many examples of joy, love, deceit, anger, revenge and also teachings in them and great rewards.

We have a choice either choose life or death? Every decision we make have two roads to travel on and which one we will pick. We get to choose eternal damnation or eternal life.

One thing strikes me is this that we can live forever with God and live. Most people live for the moment, next week, next year but what about the future, what about living daily to get to heaven to live eternally with God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost?

Wow wouldn't that be phenomenal to live forever with God the one who created us. No more paying bills, not going to work on a job just to pay rent or feed the children. Think about it we live the righteousness of God and obey His word and we will be in place of comfort. No more murders and everyone coming together and playing with the animals who on earth were ferocious now will be kind and patient in heaven.

Choose life and live eternally with God, Jesus Christ, Holy Ghost, other men and women and the animals. Choose life for we gain more with Christ and lose out more when we don't.

Part II Just Be a Willing Participant

One day we will be on trial and this trial will be like no other. There will only be one judge and no jury of your peers. A sentence will be carried out and you will either be a son or sent directly to hell. Judgment day is coming and we need to be ready. At this state there will not be a plea, officer or a stenographer typing every statement being made in a court room.

Our plea will not matter for our living will be a testimonial enough to convict us of our residency to heaven or hell. Playtime is over. Faking the funk is over. We must come to realization and pay the dues for our living wages. If it be sin then hell will be our permanent home. If we endure until the end of our death in the righteousness in Christ then heaven we will be.

There's coming a time where we are either ready or not. Getting ready is the timing now and not later. Later may be shock to some for later may never come. Stay the course and don't be derailed for pleasure to lose out your soul for a few minutes of fun.

When Christ arrival comes it’s by then too late to change. The stage in our lives cannot be delayed any longer and the time to get right in God is now.

Live righteousness now and put down the disturbances which places hurdles to jump over that makes it more difficult to see and travel on this road leading to everlasting life with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost.

Do not be one to gnash his/her teeth for refusal to serve the true and living God and end life. For death is just a part of the end to the ultimate end by the righteous judgment of God. (Romans 2:5)

To put this explicitly those who seek darkness instead of light; rather seeking the things or ways of the devil more so than God will perish.

In scripture I haven’t heard of many places where Satan will make his permanent home besides hell and those who follow him will be his co-tenants of disastrous defeat. The defeated foe will not stand or be able to endure the wrath of God and what makes us think that we will be able to?

It puzzles me so that those who desire darkness seek knowledge in deceptive practices and train their minds to accept devilish tidings instead of good tidings. If knowledge is applicable then there are choices and choices are conscious decisions of thought with two sides and no middle ground. The right choice and the wrong one and which one will we make. It will either be life or death.

Will the faith dwindle or rise to the occasion and the toughed skin man stand or fail miserably to stand because his flesh have given more precedence than his spirit? Are you willing to give your life and die now to Christ or allow the riches of this soon coming world to end and to show its ending was mere fact because all will pass away some day?

Come on and fight the fight with faith, love, kindness and the fruit of the spirit in Galatians chapter 5 and March to victory in God. Don’t give up for not only our lives depend on God so does those who watch you on a daily basis needs to pull strength from your living a Christ-filled life. Stand up and be willing to go the extra mile not just for your own sake but for those who need Christ and may not read the word for the word they read most is the faith, trust and belief in the God in whom you serve.

Stay hooked up into the vine where the resources are live and breathe the breath of life through Jesus. He is our connection unto God where we gain strength from. Hold fast to God’s unchanging hand and don’t let go.

Start emptying the baggage, the closet, the mindset, the behaviors, and release all unto God so he can sweep clean your heart and reside in the inward parts of your heart and let Jesus dwell in all parts. Cry if you have to, talk to God if you have too for there is a release in the atmosphere to lay aside every weight that easily beset us so we can live and live in heaven with our Father up in Heaven.

Release, release and let it go talk to the Father (God) and he will care your every need. Let go and let God come into the innermost parts of the heart and live and live in Heaven when His only begotten son Jesus returns.

Just Be a Willing Participant

Galatians 5

 ¹Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

 ²Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

 ³For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

 ⁴Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

 ⁵For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

 ⁶For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

So simple the Gospel of Jesus Christ have come to rescue us from a dying fate of no-return. We were destining to die and be in Hell. Yet God sent His son Jesus to give us an alternative outcome. Shall we then be in sin and die and end our lives with meaningless values? Should we except what is before us and not look for a way out. We will be tread upon as if we are garbage and over salted to no-good and be thrown out and spewed into the atmosphere as a vagabond and not worthy to be looked upon? Because sin has taken place in our hearts and now is infecting our entire body.

Sleep no longer awake and be agile in the things of Christ. Grace and mercy have given us room to get our lives together before Christ comes to this earth the second time. Soon the covering of grace and mercy will be lifted and as we are taught in Holiness in God how to live we must do so without flickering and wavering. We must live our lives without spot or wrinkle before Jesus comes again to take up those who endure until His arrival once more.

Jesus died on the cross to help us who were dead and ultimately would have died had not God sent His forgotten Son to come and save us from ourselves, people, the devil and our attitudes and behaviors. Basically Jesus was sent to save us from us and the wicked adulterer Satan. Who purported he is the way (and his claim is voided by trespass of the Holy Ghost which he is only a copycat of  God and his wicked angels with no evidence of true power and master of falsehoods) as if he is God or  affluent in love or care in those who are followers of thwarted pious sect. 

Instead the devil has fooled many into believing he, and then Satan has power. The father of lies we call this dragon. Let's set this record straight the devil is not more powerful than God nor will he ever be. Why you ask for him to the wicked one was made from God. (Lucifer angel and name changed to Satan)

Some didn't know any better until we learned that God is our Father and His plan was for us to be reconciled back to Him. 

The gospel has been preached God's words have been sent and its outcome is astronomical. In Romans and throughout the bible there are numerous people who believed in other Gods only to satisfy their hunger and greed of foul tasting stench which perfume the nostrils of wicked-evil doers. 

I ask today are you a by-stander or a way-maker? Have you stood by so long that you have decided to be what everyone else is? Life is not a one way road which people seem to think. It doesn't vicariously become a gift to live and live anyhow you choose. Whether we know this or not we earn our living. There are rules, disciplines, teachings, regulations etc... that we must learn and have to follow in order to travel along the pathway to righteousness of Christ. 

Have you decided that telling others about the Fountain of Living Waters (Jeremiah 2:13; 17:13) that flow in us are of God, Christ and the Holy Ghost? Have a decision been made to satisfy the belly to speak worthy of God who we became the willing participant of true justice have been acknowledged in us is evident of the cross Jesus bore? 

Just as we believe in products that work to our benefit as buying furniture, electronics, food etc… we need to tell others about the one who saved us from our sins. If we are convinced that Christ is the way our walk and faith will stand as a testimonial to those who befriends us or watches our every action.

Our works mean nothing without sacrifice; Christ motives a good heart and love for your fellow neighbor. Be in the race and run it with patience.

Help Others

This morning I heard the words it is well with my soul and remembered how songs with comfort and joy could bring you out of a state of being in self and make you realize that we are not here on this earth just for ourselves but for others.

Jesus died so we (the world) may live if we choose Him. Is there anyone you know who don't know Jesus? What are you doing about it? It's time to think of others who are on their way to hell and for those of us who are Christians to help them out of the deepening waters and sinking sand and destination hell to know Christ so that they can live and make it into heaven.
